As part of the School Life in Asia K-6 Educator Workshop Series, explore what it is like to go to school in India through the eyes and voices of children. Experience “Hindi 101 for kids” and receive curriculum including the award-winning DVD and book, “Going to School in India.” The Teaching East Asia program, the South, Southeast and West Asia program, and the Center for Asian Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, host this workshop and will provide classroom materials and resources for educators.

The National Association of Asian American Professionals’ workshop event, featuring Joneil Custodio and Matt Bartz from Prudential, will begin with a Filipino food buffet and networking session. Joneil Custodio, Prudential’s Diversity Relationship Manager for the West Coast, past Co-Chair for the 2006 NAAAP Convention in Seattle, will discuss his career as an Asian American professional.
